Comp knows what happened million years ago:

The computer memory is like that it stores each and every bit of data input in it at any time and it can store it for unlimited period of time.You can imagine a computer that stores the history of the world and all what happened in past and what is happening in the present and you keep on recording things and events in it for one million years and after that the human at that time can read all that history by pressing one or few keys on computer keyboard, yes sir it is still remembered by the computer at that time.


Remembarance of a Computer:

The fifth point is very important and it is remembering power of a computer, what you can say is that a computer can have unlimited rememberance without any doubt of loss of any information.Consider a human or may be consider yourself and ask a simple question from yourself do you remember all of the things that happened to you starting from the day that you were born.The answer is that no you don`t remember each and every single thing.But think and imagine that if you had the rememberance power of a computer like a hard disk memory.Now when you have the rememberance power of a computer you can answer that yes may be you could remember each and every thing that happened to you since the day you were born.

The versatility of a computer:

The fourth point is the versatility of a computer machine.It simply means that we can open a couple(a lots of applications will slow down an ordinary computer machine so we are talking about a few applications oppened at a time on a computer machine) of applications at a time on a computer machine, what you can say that a computer can prepare the results of schools or college students and at the same time you can print electricty bills with it and at the same very time you can play a song on it and side by side you can play a computer game on it.All that is done by mutitasking property of computer in which the processing  of the applications are done in a mutitask manner.

The deligence in computer:

The second point is that there is deligence in computer.We all know that all living things have feelings and a life cycle of their own like most of them they sleep at night, eat food and get worried,get happy etc.But being a machine the computer has no feelings ,it does not need to sleep,itnever gets worried and it has no emotions at all so it never gets happy too or never cries etc.And there is one other  thing too that differentiates it from living beings and that is that it never gets tired and never looses its concentrations so if we perform billions of arithmetic from it, it will do all that stuff like the same way from start to end, what I mean to say that it will not get tired in the middle of billions of calculatins or arithmetics.I think that is much for deligence.

The one line conclusion:

Lets take a look that what are those technological weaknesses, I am not going to number each of it but I will point to it using a simple example.Lets say a programmer writes a computer programme and the language he or she is using has its own weaknessen and limitations so the picture we get as a result shows us a computer programme that has addopted the weaknesses and limitations of language itself and as a result the programme produces errors at some points when used in fully operational enviorment.The one line conclusion is that the computers are better accurated than human but are not fully perfectly accurated so that they never ever make any miske or produce an error.

Is computer responsible for all?

But these mistakes and errors are because of humans rather than computer itself , what I mean to say that a computer can make mistakes and produce errors too but all these mistakes and errors are human generated like somebody enters a wrong name in result card record of a student or enters wrong and mistaked marks in marks record and thus the result produced by computer is in error like the result is a wrong name or mistaked marks on result card.But wait a minutes dude is it the human every time that is reponsible for mistakes or are there other reasons too? The answer is yes there are other reasons too like technological weaknesses.

So now i made a point that humans can be errorfull, so where do we go from here? Yes,conclusion is that a computer as being an accurate machine never ever makes mistakes and errors like humans do.You can check it out by replacing a computer with a clerk in a school or college office and check the difference yourself.But we must not forget that there nothing in this world without errors what I mean to say that nobody and nothing is so perfect so why computers are so perfect ? are they really perfect ? or may be sometimes they make mistakes too? The answer to these questions is that computer may be make mistakes and produce errors.

How much a man can do:

Lets say that we have a clerk in our school or college office and he does all of it like making results of students by totaling their marks writing obtained marks in proper box of result card then filling all records like that and in the last totals marks and write them in in the total box of the result card and he does all that I mean repeats that process of processiong result cards for each result card.Can you say that the clerk never made a mistake in preparing hundreds of result cards, the answer is that you can not be sure about that because after all our clerk fellow is an human being and at any time any where errors can occur in the work done by human, infact these errors occur because of the reason that we all are humans , what I mean is that you can see that a human gets tired and he or she feels sleepy and other things like these and when something like that happens to a human then its work is exposed to errors.

If more you say not talking in milli seconds, not talking in micro seconds , not talking in peco seconds and not even talking in nano seconds but a computer  that is a simple computer machine is able to perform 4 million arithmetics in just one second.The second considerable thing about computer machine is its accuracy, it is indeed a very important characterstic of computer machine and of course you may be know that what does accuracy mean and that is making no mistakes and no flaws and other things like these in ou work that we do.What about if we take a deep look into it.Lets start by an example of a clerk in an office.

The first and very important computer characterstic of a computer machine is that is fast faster and fastest and even million times faster than a human being.For example lets say that it can perform a work of thousand years in a little chunk of time.Lets say that if thousands of human perform some work for thousands of years and they never sleep and never eat and never waste their time in any of the other works then even then they can not go so far than a computer machine because a computer machine can do all stuff in a chunk of time.In other words computer can do our life work in just milli seconds=>fast, faster and fastest? As you can see that a lots of operations like storing data sorting data or printing data or displaying data is independent of any arithmetic operation and does not require any arithmetic to be performed on data itsef so here is the 80% of work that I was previously talking about.And you can see that all that non-computing stuff that is 80% is associated with a device that is a computing device.So here I make my point that a most true definition of a computer is that “it is a computing device as well as a non-computing device”.Now lets talk about the characterstics of a computer machine.

A fact:

A fact is that many people call a computer machine a data processor and it because of the fundamental fact that a computer processes the data as and when wanted to be processed.The term data processor given to the computer by the people is very important because its bassis are thefuctions that flow to the computer and result comes back to us.An example is that a data processor which is a computer gathers data from its inputs that link to various data sources and manipulates it like total marks obtained in examination are calculated and then theses results of hundreds of students are put in alphabetical arrangement and are sorted in assending or decending order(in any sequence) and finally show the on monitor screen or electric notice board or may be print result cards for delivering them to the students as a hard copy of what their progress in their exam.

So a question arises here that what is a data or information upon which a computer operates itself and its answer is very simple and it is that a data or information can be  a bio-data of various people that are employees of a company, or the data can be the records of students of a school or college that belong to different grades or classes or take up different subjects,or data can just can be marks obtained by students of a university.What I mean to say that computer does it all with data provided like preparing results of students or just keeping records in its memory(we will talk bout it later on).The computer is processing and keepind data no matter where it is put to work, some examples are airlines or railway where a computer is used for reservations."Check this site out"

Is it really only computation:

The reallity of making a computer is`nt that hard to understand it was all about making a machine that is so very fast and calculating in nature.Today we can see that computers not only perform calculation or calculating work but also perform a lots of other works so we just can not blame only calculation to be responsilble for the definition of the computer.In fact these other works are 80% of all the works performed by a computer so there is only 20% works remain that are performed by computer and that are calculating works.Other 80% of works performed by computer are ofcourse  of non-numerical nature.So the true definition of computer as we saw does not come from the calculating works so if more accurately we define a computer then we will say that it is a kind of machine that operates itself on the data or information given to it.

Discussion on what is computer by definition:

The word of  “computer” came out of the word “compute” that  means “calculating something”.Now that we know that a computer is a calculating device, we can say that people consider it normally as a calculating device that can do arithmetic operations at very fast speed with the help of its electronic circuits that are made up of billions or trillions of transisters packed into one single chip (the balck pack as it appears to us but actually made up of semiconductor material and a lots of transisters that make logic gate circuits that give us 0 for for a false and a 1 for true) called a microprocessor.
